Testing & Commissioning Manager - Rail
Location: Essex
Basic Salary: £45,000 Per Annum
The Territory Signalling Manager is currently looking to recruit a Testing and Commissioning Manager.
Main duties:
• Management of Signalling Works Testing Staff to produce final end result of the construction within time/budget/to contract specification, applying the company's management system procedures.
• Ensure long term interface and delivery planning for contracted work bank, including S&C Renewals and Enhancement works, is undertaken, effective and communicated to delivery Staff (Including Strategic resource planning, T&C strategy production and T&C plan approval)
• To ensure contracted works are completed to meet my clients procedures and Network Rail standards (subject to relevant contract conditions)
• To ensure contract is completed to meet required Health, Safety & Environmental requirements
• To effectively identify and manage resources, i.e. people, time, plant, materials, subcontractors.
• Effectively manage internal and external customer & supplier relationships
• Ensure Compliance to Contract KPI’s.
• Manage internal interfaces, e.g. testing, design, installation
• Identify key variations to contract
Essential:
• IRSE Licensed (Tester In Charge)
Important skills:
• SMTH (Full) & SWTH (TIC).
• Objective setting
• Numerical
• Literacy
• Report writing
• PTS
• COSS or IWA Desirable.
• Computer skills – MS Office, MS Project and Primavera.
• Full driving licence
• Network Rail CRE Assessment Competency.
• HNC level qualification in Engineering or relevant business discipline.
