Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE

I am looking for an experienced Lead Power Engineer to work for a major signalling company on a permanent basis in Birmingham.

As lead power Engineer you will be responsible for providing electrical and power technical support and may act as the contractor's responsible engineer for power on allocated projects.

Main Responsibilities include:

Technical investigations
Monitoring compliance
Attending client meetings
Carrying out risk assessments
Produce relevant documents and reports

The scope of works carried out will be from design through to delivery, meeting and liaising with clients throughout the process so you will need to show strong interpersonal team-working skills to accompany your technical literacy and business awareness.

The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level or equivalent in electrical engineering and will have experience of designing LV power distribution systems and interfacing to HV systems using power systems design software (AMTECH or equivalent) is essential, along with a proven ability to apply systemprotection, discrimination, load assessment and diversity techniques to system design.
