Health And Safety Advisor - Rail

Location: Middlesex

Basic Salary: £30,000 Per Annum

I am looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor from a rail and construction background to work on a permanent basis based in Middlesex.

As Health and Safety Advisor you will be responsible for:

•Providing day-to-day HSQE support to Rail Projects and other divisions as required.
•Carrying out investigations into accidents and incidents
•Where required liaise and report accidents and incidents to the enforcing authorities
•Carrying out HSQE system inspections and audits to ensure continued compliance with procedures and standards
•Facilitating the risk assessment and review process
•Maintaining the document control process and library in liaison with the HSQE Co-ordinator
•Specifying and controlling a system for input, collating, analysing and disseminating accident statistics and trends
•Assist in the production of HSQE documentation at the commencement of a contract. EG H&S file, method statements, risk assessments etc
•Provide HSQE advice to the site teams.
•Work with the site teams to ensure that the required standards for HSQE are achieved / maintained.
•Work with the site teams to identify areas for continuous improvement
•Attend Safety/ Quality/ Environmental meetings as required


The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level or equivalent in Construction or Health and Safety related discipline be NEBOAH qualified.

You will have experience of Occupational Safety Management within the Rail and Construction Industry and hold a valid PTS, LUL Entry Permit and Access Card.
