Possessions Planner - Rail - London

Duties

Planning and controlling of site possessions to support operational needs of the business. This includes both tender and contract requirements.

Timely production of relevant documentation required for possessions, including both client and the company's requirements.

Attendance at client meetings to ensure possessions are booked, implemented and utilised for the operational needs of the business.

Establish and implement safe systems for possession planning in accordance with HSE, Client and Regulatory Authorities requirements (Network Rail, ORR, London Overground, etc). This includes ensuring that the works are undertaken in accordance with current standards, and to support the company's Zero Harm Campaign.

Liaise with both tender and commercial staff to maximise possession efficiency and commercial value.

Provide information and advice to support the tender bid process when requested by Regional Director.

Provide guidance, support and training to operational staff in possession planning, and to develop improved competency of operational staff in this field.

Undertake site audits to ensure compliance of relevant systems and procedures as required.

Core Skills, Experience and Knowledge Requirements:

Competent to read, interpret and communicate Engineering drawings and diagrams.
Excellent understanding of the possession environment.
Sound understanding of working within the Railway Environment, including technical standards and Railway Engineering Principals.
Proven track record in possession planning
Qualified RIMINNI planner.
Qualified Core Planner Stage 2
Computer literate, with ability to operate all relevant operating systems (e.g. Primavera, Word, Excell, Powerpoint).
Sound understanding of working within the Railway Environment, including technical standards and Railway Engineering Principals.
