Estimator - Civil Engineering
Location: Essex
Basic Salary: £45,000 - £ 55,000 Per Annum car, pension, healthcare
Our Client, a Civil Engineering Contractor in Wakefield are looking for a new Estimator to handle their encreasing workload.Typical Duties
Produce estimates from first principles
Taking off from drawings for preparation of Bill of Quantities for submission and also for Subcontract/Materials enquiries.
Experience of various forms of contract and sub-contract, including the ability to understand the implications of changes to standard terms and conditions.
Programming for tenders and reconciliation of resources with pricing levels. Please state which planning software packages you have experience of and to what ability.
Preparation of risk schedules.
Preparation of quality submission documents, including method statements and risk assessments.
