Health And Safet Advisor - Civil Engineering

Location: Essex

Basic Salary: £28,000 Per Annum

I am looking for a Safety Advisor to work in the South East on a major marine and dredging project. Reporting into the Health and Safety Manager you will be out on site ensuring that safety policies are followed at all times.

Main Responsibilities:

„XCarrying out risk assessments
„XCarrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented
„XPlanning practical and effective methods, both preventative and remedial, of promoting health and safety and safe working practices
„XKeeping records of inspections findings and producing reports that suggest improvements
„Xkeeping records of incidents and accidents and producing statistics for managers
„XCarrying out accident investigations on site and producing subsequent reports


The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH general certificate and ideally come from a marine background working on board dredging vessels, tug boats, pontoons as well as reclamation sites.
