Marketing Manager - Construction

Location: Essex

Basic Salary: £60,000 Per Annum

I am looking for a Marketing Manager to join a major construction company in Essex.

As Marketing Manager you will be responsible for:

•Developing sales within the company
•Branding and corporate identity
•Dealingwith internal and external communications
•Reporting on trends and significant developments in appropriate industry areas
•Monitor competitors - benchmark analysis
•Enhance the profile of marketing, its function and philosophy within the company and ensure all sales people fully understand the role of marketing
•Work with key heads of departments to develop new added value proposals
•Oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
•Develop and monitor communication strategies including website, email, press releases and sales promotion material
•Maintain the Company brand
•Develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with the Managing Director. This should detail the year’s activity to meet agreed company objectives
•Oversee organisation of key marketing and promotional events
•Responsible for the Company’s web development
•Support sales activity and oversee data management
•Drive PR strategy for the Company’s achievements
•Maintain contact with outside agencies, industry associations and media representatives to keep informed of current developments in the advertising field

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a Management role, qualified to a degree level or equivalent in business or marketing and be a strong team player.
