VGC workers demonstrate increased competency levels through achievement of NVQ’s
VGC's close working relationships with Lewisham College has resulted in a large number of VGC workers achieving Level 2 and Level 3 NVQ's demonstrating compliance with the national occupational standards in areas such as general construction operations, form working, excavation and reinstatement, structural concreting & Occupational Work Supervision.
By organising and facilitating the delivery of NVQ's for our workers VGC are assisting in the career development & motivation of our workers as well as increasing the efficiency and safety levels on sites. The achievement of NVQ's compliments the ongoing training & competency programme that is in place for all VGC workers, much of which is delivered through "VGC Training"
VGC will be continuing with this scheme to ensure that we reach as many of our workforce as possible.
