VGC achieves CSCS Platinum Status
The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) has become the industry standard competency card scheme. It provides a simple means for construction workers, supervisors and managers to prove their competence in a consistent manner.
VGC has recently been accredited with the CSCS Platinum Certificate of Commitment. This certifies that at least 95% of our workforce is CSCS carded through Construction Skills
Ciara Fitzpatrick, Group Services Director says "As part of our commitment to CSCS, and to developing our workforce, VGC facilitates on-site assessment and training for achievement of NVQ's and works in partnership with local colleges and CITB. The CSCS scheme ensure that our workforce are both technically competent as well as being focused on the health & safety aspects of their role."
