Balfour Beatty - Blackfriars Newsflash

VGC Group work with Balfour Beatty to install new cables to complete vital power link at Blackfriars.

VGC Group have been commended for their role working alongside Balfour Beatty's M&E Team enabling them to complete an installation for Network Rail for a permanent high voltage cable route through Blackfriars Station in early January 2011.  

Chris Evans and Lindsay Vamplew, both Balfour Beatty Project Directors on this contract commented:

‘Well done to all involved in achieving this milestone.  Although largely unseen, this operation is a crucial element of the Blackfriars upgrade, which is why we should all recognise the effort and hard work that has gone into this successful endeavour.'
