Skanska Balfour Beatty M25 - Junction 27 to 30 Widening Project - VGC Group win Subcontractor of the Year Safety Award for 2010

Congratulations to Mark Beer and all of his team working on the M25 - Junction 27 to 30 Widening Project who have won the Skanska Balfour Beatty Subcontractor of the Year Safety Award for 2010.

This was awarded to VGC Group for winning the Monthly Safety Award on the most occasions throughout 2010. This is a great achievement for VGC Group. The monthly award scores companies on H&S and SSPS Meeting Attendance, Number of Safety Inspections carried out, Near Miss Reporting and also scores negatively for companies who fail to comply with site rules.

Skanska Balfour Beatty Project Direct James Richardson joined Matt Dean, VGC's Health & Safety Advisor, in presenting fleeces to the Section 4 workforce and thanking them for their continued efforts towards safety on the project. James also commented on how consistent VGC have been at maintaining a high standard of compliance with everything Skanska / Balfour Beatty have been asking VGC's operative to do throughout 2010.
